Well I just loved this paper from the Scrapbook Essentials April Kit. Double sided Black and White, multi patterned, just perfect for a strip background layout. I have made layouts similar to this before but always had to hunt around for matching papers and Embelishments, but this one sheet of paper makes it all so easy, in fact so easy that you will have your page finished in under an hour!
Step 1. Grab a sheet of White Cardstock for your background. Using the Striped paper, take a good look and choose the patterns you want to use together from either side of the page. Trim carefully along the sides of each of these patterns to create strips.
Lay them onto your white background
and play with the combination until you are happy that there is "balance" heavier or darker prints should be spread across the page and the heaviest at the bottom of the page.
Trim the sides of the strips on angles and ink around the edges of each piece.
Check your photo placement before adhering to page. Leave a small border of white all around the page.
Paint over your title or letters in White, leaving the sides black.
Adhere photos to page overlapping if you have "dead" space in any of your photos. And overlay the title partly onto the photos.
Add any other embellishments, photo corners etc and a journalling spot mounted with foam tape.
Simple, inexpensive and effective, this is a great way to use up the multi stripe papers that are so popular now.

Looks awesome ... thank you for sharing.
