Hi and Welcome to the Flutterbys - Page Class.
We are going to have a bit of fun creating a pretty page combining felt swirls with Fabric and ribbon flowers.
The Fabric Flower technique is a new one to scrapbooking as far as I know, and you will find it gives a lovely chunky textural effect that will have you repeating it time and time again.
You will need a standard 6 x 4" portrait style photo for this page (a 7 x 5" photo would work as well but you may just want to adjust the page proportions a little).

If you are creating this page without a pack, you will need
1 x Background paper - I used a Blue with white polka dot.
1 x Making Memories Noteworthy Diecut Sheet -I used the pink edge one.
Plain Cream or Script Print Paper 12" x 2" scrap
Fabric Aprox 20cm x 10cm - I used a script print patchwork fabric but try it with anything you have on hand.
Some assorted ribbons.
Self Adhesive felt - I used Queen and Co Blue Swirly Felt but most of their swirly or floral designs would work just as well.
2 x scraps of patterned pastel paper about 3"square.
1 x journalling spot.
1 x Vellum Stickers - I used Rhonna Farrer quotes stickers.

Dad - The Official Record 1

Exactly who is the Dad in your life? Is he the new age ‘urban Dad’ who can actually make a Grande Mocha with the Coffee machine or is he the ‘Fix it Dad ‘that is found hiding in the deep recesses of his shed, tinkering with his latest project.
There is no manual that comes with being a father and this album is about celebrating the differences, achievements, annoying, touching and just plain silly times you remember and shared with your Dad.
In this class we use a Maya Road Chipboard Album (5x7"), 7 Gypsies Embellishments and a variety of patterned papers. Kits designed for this class will be available (with the class fee included) from Kiwi Scraps in a couple of weeks or to request more info on this class and the booking/payment procedure, click on the link under class registration on the right.
Class Fee of $14 (includes downloadable transparency and journalling blocks designed for this class)

Exquisite Embellishments

Want to have a bit of a play with your stash? Use the ideas in this class to expand your use of Ribbons, stamps, transparencies and even felt to create some beautiful and unique embellishments to add to your pages or cards.

A class packs is not required for this class if you have your own scrapbooking stash to play with. If you do want one though they may still be available from Simply Scrapbooking in Australia.

This class explores a few techniques incorporating some fresh ways to work with flourishes, both the paper variety and stamps.

If you are quick, class packs are still available from Simply Scrapbooking in Aus and Kiwi Scraps in NZ, if you live anywhere else, email me for a list of supplies needed for this class.

Flutterbys

Flutterbys, a class designed to take you to the next level with your scrapbooking pages, combining all the latest techniqes and products, enjoy creating with a combination of fabrics, stamps, felt, ribbons and more! Definately one for those Girl Photos!

Funky_felt_

The FUNKY FELT online class will have you creating some fabulous realistic embellishments, frames and borders not to mention lots of layout ideas and instructions. It includes printable templates for embellishments, step by step techniques for creating not just scrapbooking page embellishments, but gorgeous Christmas gifts too. There are many page ideas and step by step instructions are also provided for some of the many layouts created. As with all my online classes, if you need an extra week to finish your class then just email for an extension.

The optional pack includes 17 different coloured and patterned Felt, Matching embroidery thread, Beads and Fibre-fill. (To purchase all of the pack items and colours separately would cost approx $40). There is plenty of included to work on your class and you will have plenty left over to play with your own ideas. Enough to keep you busy creating for weeks!

Payment of $29 for the combined Class and Pack (please add $4 p/h if postage is required in NZ, pick up is available from Palmerston North. NZ )
